East Herts is filled with thriving businesses that are continuing to learn from one another and helping each other grow. There is a great community spirit amongst companies, with everyone wanting each other to succeed. They also like to keep us entertained on social media so we thought it would be a good idea to highlight some of our favourites.
Paradise Wildlife Park

All PWP’s platforms are insightful ways to look at the day-to-day life of the zoo. They also provide you with interesting animals facts – not just the ones they have at their delightful park. PLUS you also get to see all their latest babies, this includes their adorable jaguar cub who was born on 2nd April.
Their YouTube channel gives you an insight into what’s going on and how the animals are treated. If you’re looking for something interesting – and sometimes cute – follow Paradise Wildlife Park on all channels.

If you’re looking at getting back into sport or would like to find out new ways to get fit, you can find everything you need on their Twitter account. With the summer holidays approaching, you’ll even find great summer camps your children might like to join in with.
McMullens Brewery

If you want to know everything going on in East Herts then here’s a good account to follow! McMullens have been brewing beer and ale in Hertford since 1827 and are now keeping us up to date with all things Herts via their social platforms. They also get up to a lot of cool things themselves such as bringing the horse and dray back to Hertford, Ware and Hoddesdon, as well as bringing back to life some of their classic trucks to deliver the beer.
Simmons Bakers
If you have a sweet tooth, you need to give Simmons Bakers a follow. Your mouth will be watering when looking at their posts. You even get to see how all your favourite treats are made. The Giving Machine is based in Bishop’s Stortford and is growing at an amazing rate! You can donate money through it to so many brilliant charities just by clicking through to a shopping site on their website. It really is a simple and fabulous idea. They’re great to follow on social because you get to see how the charities are doing as well as a whole host of events going on in the East Herts area.
